About Me:
I grew up as an only child back in good ol' New Hampshire, although thankfully I didn't pick up the accent. (-: My parents are the hardest working people I know. Mom is a nurse and Dad is a mechanic. They supported me in my love of acting and modeling as I child, and I am thankful for the sacrifices they made. While in junior high and high school, I regret that I strayed from those passions. I pursued other interests in floral design, technology, and education. As a student, I worked hard and graciously received many scholarships. I moved west to go to BYU, and I graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Elementary Education. During the seven years that I have been teaching, I have directed my classes in several plays and puppet shows. It was through those experiences that I rekindled my love of acting.
While in Utah, I met my husband Michael, who is a paramedic firefighter. I can't imagine how he deals with the dangers and tragedies of his job. He can't imagine how I can get on stage and perform in front of dozens of people! We bought and completely remodeled an old (from 1880) house on our own! We just welcomed a beautiful baby girl into our home, Gracie. We also have an adorable Scotty named Jasper!
I was fortunate to be able to begin acting again. As I have performed on stage and film, I have come to the realization that it is something I was born to do. It brings me joy to lift people up through inspiring stories or lighten their load with comedies. I hope to continue to have opportunities to grow in the field.
Acting aside, I am passionate about many other things. There is nothing better in the world for me than being with my husband of 5 years, parents, and our dogs! We love hiking, camping, and kayaking. Wanderlust is one of my vices, I especially love traveling to Europe and to all of the National Parks. I am working on becoming a better photographer, but enjoy it none the less. A dorky trait is that I love collecting rocks! I also love trying new things like painting, home improvement, and playing the guitar.
